This game is awesome. I really liked the truck. I agree with previous comments about the speed of the sharks at the start, but otherwise it looks great. The leaderboard is really cool as well.
Fun game! The leaderboard was an inspired addition. I could definitely see myself trying to up my score over and over again. I think the speed could be lowered or varied, because when I started I died immediately. I could imagine it going up as you got higher score for more difficulty.
Very fun game! I enjoy that the game loop is easy to understand and simple to play around with, the addition of a leaderboard is fantastic! I would suggest having the mobs slowly get faster instead of always being 1 speed, it could help ease into the game loop a bit more and create a narrative structure that the sharks are mad you made it this far.
Had fun playing, I like how the directions are randomized and the difficulty scales up over time. The leader board is also pretty cool. The control of the sheild feels snappy and satisfying. I think it would be great to add variations to how the sharks move, maybe some go in a squiggly line.
Fun game! The game loop is really fun. The pixel art is nice and I love the inclusion of a Game Over and leaderboard screen. It takes a bit of skill to get a high score. I also like the idea of the fish using a car as a shield to fit into the "wheel" concept.
This is such a cool idea! The mechanic is fun and easy to pick up. I consistently struggled a little to block the very first shark, so maybe a slight delay on the first shark could help to orient the player.
